Hi all
I have a '69 911T LWB. Had the car 12 years and do plan on keeping it "forever". It was painted a few years ago but as now it needs a new screen (all sorted through club recommendation thank you Ray Bardashevski Windscreens), but the paint on the roof isn't great where it meets the glass so does need paint/glass out respray of the roof.
Secondly the aftermarket Bursch muffler has a small hole in it, just mild steel so is due for replacing anyway. Best option?
Lastly, and this a big one, the engine hasn't had a rebuild, done 80k believed genuine, always dripped a tiny bit of oil. Last year took to independent specialist who used modern synthetic oil and now it's leaking a lot more you could say, as it's on original gaskets & seals...
Any pointers on these would be very much appreciated, I'd like to use the car this Summer.
Many thanks in advance.

There is a great chap near Preston who is brilliant at sorting old 911s , mechanical and bodywork.
Try Lee Mayor Restorations.
He has done brilliant work preparing my cars.

Fit a Dansk silencer, either mild or stainless steel. Available from Eurocarparts or most specialists. To save a possible engine rebuild try standard 20/50 mineral oil.

Graham Green of Longridge, Preston, restores many early (and later Porsche's) even the 1999 National Concours winning 911S 2.0.

His number is: 07967 537662

His work is second to non and I would highly recommend him.
