Why do Kent region club nights keep changing?

Dereck

New member
In the ten months I've been a member I've yet to make it to a club meet at Brands Hatch. In part this is due to work, but each time I manage to keep the evening free to attend i find out it's changed. Tonight is a great example, home early and about to leave when I thought I'll just double check. In the printed events calendar it says 24th TBC, (but that's the 4th Wednesday). Better check online (here) and Mays meet isn't even mentioned. So have to dig out this months mag to find out it was last week. How does everyone keep up with moving dates? In this ever connected world it shouldn't be a problem.

Hi Dereck,

Sorry to read this.

Let me get some clarity on the dates for you and I'll drop you an email to confirm.

Thanks,

Chris

This year is IIRC the first time the April and May meets have been moved to the first Wed of the month instead of 2nd, no doubt something to do with Brands and the availability of the Kentagon. Between Porsche Post R25 report and the monthly email updates Pearl and Phil send, we've had no problem making each meeting. The other regular non-Brands meets are December, which is normally 2nd Wed but at Porsche Tonbridge, and January when Brands is closed so no meet.

Are you on the R25 email mailing list? If not, an email to R25 will add you.

Thanks for the replies, I am on the Kent mailing list, but don't recall a message about date changing - must have missed that one. I'll have to try again next month.
