This annual event depends entirely on the organisation of Richard East , and his detailed knowledge of the backwaters . It is held on a weekday when the weekend tourists are not clogging the roads . If you have a 356 and the time available and you can get yourself to where the M25 meets the M26 then it is a must -do ! It helps to bring a navigator to decode the route instructions [:D]

I got back into 356s about 4 years ago as nothing else can give you so much pleasure at road legal speeds on twisty roads , even better being in a continuous train of cars with other 356 owners and being granted right of way by more modern vehicles !

Lets start with a couple of shots of the owners , and their co-pilots/navigators at the 7 Diner , apologies to the latecomers who arrived after the shots . There were some drivers younger than the cars but only a minority . The keen eyed will spot the Register Secretary .

Now some random and incomplete shots of the cars , starting with Speedsters , first up is a hotrod , driver is quick too.

Second Speedster is in good company , Mark's Togo 356SC and my Bali 356C

...not forgetting Richard's Slate Grey SC

A couple of white B S90 , Fred's coupe and Mike's cabrio

and Hugo's A

and most of the cars lined up before departure to Paragon Porsche , you might just spot David's Aetna Blue Roadster

Finally , parked outside Paragon's remodelled showroom where we enjoyed good hospitality from Mark Sumpter , Jeff's A next to Andy's Carrera 2 . One more car joined us there to make a full team of 11 cars , did not get a shot of it however [:(].

Hi Guys, I'm unsure if this is the correct forum for this request, if not please point me in the right direction.
I own a 365B Cab which I brought over from South Africa 3 years ago and it goes terribly. It was set up for 6000' altitude (Johannesburg). I'm looking for a recommendation of 356 specialist repair shop in the South East, who can carry out a decent service and get her going as she should. Please let me know. Many thanks. Dennis

The South East is well served for Porsche fettling , you will be in good hands with PRS . I can also vote for Jaz at St Albans , Steve Winter is very strong on carburettor set up , was supporting John Watson's drive of pre A at recent Mille Miglia
