Key Setting Frustration!

Been spitting feathers that my key wouldn't retain its vehicle settings for very long. []

I'd adjust the seat and steering positions to just how I like them, then lo and behold, next time I use my key everything starts moving about and I can't even get in!

One of the reasons we went for the comfort pack was so Judy and I could each have our own key and the car would set itself for whoever was driving. [;)]

Turns out I had the locking memory set to auto. which basically means it remembers the settings when the car was last locked.

So if I drive down to the pub, get plastered and Judy has to drive home using my key, my settings are overridden as soon as she operates the central locking.

Going into the "settings" menu, choosing "locking" then unchecking "auto memory" seems to have done trick. [:)] Yippee! [8|]

Regards,

Clive.

Clive I had the same problem with my new 991 GTS and it's 18 way seats so thanks for the tip.
