Smokers package

This seems to involve a lid and a cigar lighter element with a power socket.

So if you don't opt for this, does it become a tray or is it still a compartment and does the power socket remain?

Clive, The default non smokers package gives you an open topped deep tray with a 12v socket in the bottom,
whereas the no cost option is as you say a flip topped lid covering a normal cigar lighter and small coin tray.

Thanks Mike is the kit worth £36 for the lid then if you don't smoke e.g does it provide a better finish to the console or is the deeper storage bin a bit more useful, do you think? [8|]

With the lid, the console looks finished, rather than a void, but without, it is deeper and using my Macan for work,
I do find it more useful for storing oddments.
You pays your money....... although I didn't with the GT3 and got it FOC since it was a no cost option.
