75 930

Does look great ,cant believe the asking price ???????????????????? Even with'........investment potential '

With the exception of a slope...which i suggest appeals to different folk and does have 330 bhp ,which went for in excess of £85 relatively recently, i have nt seen a 3 0 get past £50k yet , pse let me know if i am wrong ? I had one of the very last 3 0 ltr s some years back, it even came from the factory with 3.3 interior trim, including a boost gauge and 16 " rims ................made 213000 miles over a ten year period in my ownership..................went pop , my fault had an enhanced after market boost adjuster, but i was too mean to fit an intercooler ............................clearly should have kept it !

FWIW Des, mine was an 'orrble orange tan leather throughout .....it never quite toned down ..but all leather Mate

Personally I loved the tartan and leatherette trim, it was so 75' early Turbo .... over the years I would think many of these early gems had replacement interiors .....

I'm glad to say some of us have restored these cars and left as much original as we can. Personally I like the Red Tartan - suits the car. It may now be a little ragged but it is orignal to the car (and nearly 40 years old). First time I've seen a '75 3.0 come up for sale. The market will decide, but it's better to come down - it's very hard to trot it up. Hope to use the car more in 2013 Jim Cookson 930 3.0 1975 MG Midget 1340 1972

I knew that I should have hung on to my black 1975 930. Andrew at Gmund helped me to sell that, but for substantially less than he's asking for this one - but that was a long time back; it went to a foreign collector who could afford to restore it. Still, I'm quite happy to have my 1976 930 back for the time being.

Well the chap who has just bought the car thinks it represents good value at £75k compared to £300k for a 2.7RS and £150k for a 993 RS, the only other recent right hand drive 3.0 Turbo on the market at the moment is a red one at the Speed shop in Australia for £105k, we only got 18 3 litre Turbo cars in 1975 - how many left ? Luckily this one is going to the North East (Durham), so staying in the UK - which is brill. Andrew.

I know this is a rather old thread, but does anyone know of a 75 3.0 Turbo RHD owner, open to part ways in the region of £250k? Longshot, but just so hard to find!
