One year after pick up, 6600 miles, 2500 to Italy and back, couple of track days, several charity events, loads of days out and lunches and probably final trip of the year to Bicester. Happy Days 😁

Happy Days Indeed  Nice Spec

Its that time of year again!

2022 PORSCHE 718 SPYDER (collectingcars.com)  Final Bid £90K NO SALE!

The Q & A's make for some interesting reading
The V5 doesn’t prove ownership of the vehicle but the registered keeper. Considering it takes up to 6 weeks to get a new V5 I thought it would be prudent to not send it off as I decided the car was not staying with me and didn’t want the new owner to not have the V5 there when the sale was done. The new owner of the vehicle can decide what to do with V5 but at least it will be there present on the sale.

I’m not sure you can guarantee that as the onus is on the current registered keeper to notify dvla. Romans should provide them your details and they’ll notify dvla to put the car into your name. You bought the car so why the unwillingness to register it in your name? Did you declare to the finance company that you’re not the registered keeper as this is one of their basic requirements as well? Buying a car privately from someone who doesn’t have the car in their name but has finance secured against it feels a little off doesn’t it?
      byMrChips4 days ago

Hi V5 shows zero previous owners and will stay that way until the next person buys it. There is finance on the vehicle but I can close it once auction is finished.

Hi, a couple of questions please. I take it if you have just bought the car and its showing zero previous owners then the registration document is not actually in your own name yet then? Is there finance on the car please (its doesnt seem to mention in the advert).

It’s still a one owner car as it states on the V5. I took delivery as I’d committed to buying it and out of principle I wouldn’t back out. Even though I knew I wasn’t going to use it, therefore no point in adding another owner. It was literally purchased around 3 weeks ago. Additionally my Cayenne GT arrived earlier than expected so I will be using that over winter. The Boxster Spyder was delivered to Topaz and stayed there.

So you bought it from Romans in the last few weeks and now have a slot for the RS hence why you are selling? Wouldn’t that make it a two owner car? Sorry if I’ve misunderstood.
      bycarbuyer

Yes, I bought it and don’t need anymore as my RS is a January build car.

Wasn’t it showing as sold at Romans? Or was that a different car?
      bycarbuyer

Yes it was at Romans.

Sure. I’m away in LA from Wednesday let me know if you want to see it. The car is at Topaz Detailing.

This is the only way I’d have a Boxster Spyder - none metallic black on black.

I have a 992 GT3RS coming in January / February therefore it will replace this.

Thank you 🙏
not sure on darker but it’s got blue undertones (I suppose like steel when it’s heated ) was a gamble as I could not find a UK car in this colour to view , but must say I’m delighted

Looking on here https://www.ptsexplorer.com/ seems you are a shade or so lighter than Agate but I like your description of blue undertones

I've recently bought a 987 Spyder from Solihull OPC so I guess they do exist but quite rare now. TBH mine is the first one I've seen for a while. Apparently the 987s won't be long in the OPC network as they need to be less than 15 years old after the 2 year Porsche Warranty expires. Love the car though.. sold my 964 Targa for this one.
