Hi Folks,
I hope you don't mind me mentioning a Guards Red 911 3.2 cabriolet sport, that is listed in the "for sale" section, I know we shouldn't post sales in the forum, but it such a rare beast I thought it was worth bringing it to your attention.
It really is a slice of automotive history, a "real" 911 in near original showroom condition, with only 28000 miles.
I know you can buy a used Boxster for the money, but this car is fabulous. I'll try & post a picture later!

Late, low mileage, original, 3.2 Carreras are very sought after, for good reason - they are real gems. Air-cooled, relatively simple mechanicals, very tough, galvanised , very rewarding to drive.....

Personally, I prefer the Coupe. Cab was first generation so a lot less rigid, but perfect for summer, touring, holidays, etc

Photos would be nice.

Could be another one for your collection Mike?

How's the GT3 order coming along, as you know I have defected to the "dark side" & am running an AMV8 until mine arrives next March.
The V8 is a fabulous jewel of a car (inside & out) & I am really enjoying the experience (so far!), but it isn't as driver focussed as 030 spec Pork!

No. Tempting, but I've got a 3.2 CS and it's just perfect. But, I'd recommend a really nice 3.2 Cab to anyone wanting a 'classic' 911 for fun. Would suit a 996/997 coupe owner who wants to enjoy the 'feel' of a proper air-cooled 911. On days like today I know what I'd rather be driving.

GT3 now seems to be Oct build.

I know what you mean about the AMV8. I went to the factory last month with a friend who was speccing his up. I really don't like the Vanquish, DB9, and most previous Astons, but the AMV8 is gorgeous and I don't blame anyone for being tempted to defect.
