944 ,911 lots of seats should fit as I believe they all share the same runner template .If you are desperate you might find a pass seat will fit the driver position as a temp solution . Naturally the elec adjustment will be pretty difficult to get to.

Take a look at the sticky at the head of the 928  forum under spares, plenty of places to search

Wanted broken, damaged or empty case of 85 and up manual transaxle.
Condition not important as only a shed project (playing with inboard brakes for racer project) and may end up scrap.

Peanut,

You will be pleased to hear we visited Paul Anderson's workshop today...

The words "Aladdin's Cave" spring to mind!

At last, someone that has everything a 928 might need to keep running perfectly.

It was great to see someone so dedicated to the 928, very knowledgeable, and very helpful, definitely THE place to go!

I feel confident that Paul will solve the issue with my engine, and have the car back on the road within a week or two

Thanks again for the recommendation!

Just been and collected the s4 from Paul today, and it sounds sweeet!!!!!!!!

I really looking forward to a sunny day now!!!

That fella Paul Anderson...............EXCELLENT...TOP MAN!!!!

In truth he did a really great job of re-fitting the engine with new waterpump, gaskets, timing belt.
He really knows his stuff, and he did the car as if it were his own, I can't ask for better than that.
He deserves his great reputation, i would have no worries recommending him!!!!!!

Thanks again to you Peanut, for the contact, nice one!

excellent news .

Dr Paul is simply the best. What he doesn't know about 928's probably isn't worth knowing.

Thats an amazingly fast turnaround too !

I so envy you the sound of that v8 ..  If my 944S2 had a v8 I think I would have the perfect car .

928 Full Interior or Parts Wanted 2011/11/18 05:09:09 (permalink)
Hi all ... I’m looking for either a full replacement interior or various bits if I can get a colour match. I acquired a 928 as an abandodned restoration and am finding more difficulty than expected in sourcing the parts ... maybe that's why the other guy gave up!!

The car is a "W" reg 4.5l ... I'm not a 928 specialist but I think that makes it an S1 if they ever so labelled the early ones. The colour internally is blue with a dark grey/blue seat covering with light blue/grey cross hatch pattern ... I hope this all makes sense! I am including photos of the bits that are missing ... any help greatly welcomed.

Torque tunnel covering
Carpets
Insert Door cards NS and OS
Electrics box cover(s)
Passenger footwell footrest
Driver’s window switch
OS 928 doorsill plate
NS mirror glass (whole unit?)
