Anyone going to Oulton Park on Sat for the Club's track day?

Any other Cayman section folks going? There's usually plenty of GT4s and several GTSs in attendance, and with it being a Saturday it's a good day for spectators. Unless you're tied up watching the coronation of King Charles of course [;)]

I'll be on track and I'm hoping to get there early enough to grab a garage, so if anyone wants to say hello please feel free to come over and introduce yourself. As a relative newbie to track days I'm also happy to share my newbie knowledge if you're going on track and have any questions [:D]

I'm attending too, in my Python Boxster GTS 4.0. Rain is forecast, if so I will be going round at 20mph.

Graham

What time is lights out Dave? I've got something on in the afternoon but may be able to get down in the morning for a bit of spectating.

Dan

Nice one Dan [:D]

Sighting laps are from 9am, the track goes fully live at 9:30am and lunch break is at 12:30pm. The weather forecast is looking like rain in the afternoon so the morning is definitely the best time to be there.

Hope to see you tomorrow!

Ace. I'll see if I can get a pass from OC Home Command. What time do you plan on getting there?

Dan

I'll be there super early to sign on, get the car ready, grab a coffee etc. I think the driver briefing is at 8:30am, so sometime before that.

Looks like OC Home Command has other plans for me in the morning Dave. Apologies.

Enjoy your day.

Dan

Saw you quite a few times on track today Dave, but never managed to find you in the paddock. Hope that you had fun though - you looked to be going well on

Hi Graham - I was having such a blast I was reluctant to come in! Two complete tanks of fuel is a record for me I think! :ROFLMAO:

I kept an eye out for you but stupid me was looking for a Cayman, not realising you were in a Boxster. I'm so sorry! I think there were a pair of Python Boxsters and you may have been there today with your wife? Hope you had as good a day as I did and sorry we didn't get chance to speak [:(]

There was also a Python Spyder in the paddock, but I think they we just spectating as I never saw it on the track. We were parked next to it for a while. Yes, Jane came with me yesterday, and we also met up with some friends who came over to spectate. My friend Laurence had a passenger ride in Derek's oak green GT4RS and was blown away, by both car and driver!

Of course, it was a Spyder alongside your GTS, and it was you I saw. I think I was on track with you too at one point?

It was a great day for all concerned by the sound of it [:D]

Blimey, I must have been having a good day! :ROFLMAO:
