This will be an evening with Mark Cole, prominent journalist, author and commentator who has held a number of key roles during a lengthy career in motorsport. Mark covered his 35th Le Mans in 2017 and his career has included club editor at Autosport magazine, press officer at Thruxton and Silverstone circuits and press attaché for the FIA World Sportscar Championship. He has commentated for 25 years on Eurosport TV.

Of particular interest to us will be Mark's connections with Porsche going back to the Rothmans Porsche era with the 956s and 962s in endurance racing. Mark's visit will be particularly timely with the 100th anniversary of Le Mans just around the corner.

In anticipation of a good turnout, arrangements have been made with Redbourn Golf Club where a substantial audience can be accommodated and with this in mind we have invited adjacent Regions to join us. The meeting will start at the usual time of 7.00pm with food available from 7.30. The food offering will be lasagne, chips and salad for a very reasonable £12. Your place and the food will need to be ordered and paid for in advance using the Club booking system. If you do not intend to eat you will still need to book in order to provide accurate numbers.

If you intend to come along it would be appreciated and indeed recommended if you would book as early as possible. These details are repeated in the main website along with the booking facility.

Look forward to seeing you there
