PORSCHE CLASSIC MINOR SERVICE BOXSTER 2.7

I've suggested to a good friend that he becomes a Porsche Classic member which is complementary. When I was having my MOT at Porsche Chester last week, I obtained a minor service quotation for him and it was over £800! Does this sound right for a 2001 2.7? The last major service 12 months ago that I had on my 981S was under £1000.

Wow that's a bit steep, have you tried RG Lewis's at Harthill , near Chester. 01829 782663 ask for Karl.. he does mine and I get change out of£350

Porsche Classic minor service cost for a 986 or 996 is £375

PC should be challenged to explain

Thanks for the recommendation of RG Lewis and £375 sounds more like it. I will challenge OPC Chester on it quoting more than double.
