Insurance Macan S

After years of Cayenne ownership I'm about to venture into a 2019 Macan S. I'm looking at sorting out the insurance, sadly the car is outside the scope of my current insurers Porsche scheme - so looking for ideas.
I'm old and rural if that helps!

I have my Cayman with saga and it's very reasonable, in fact I have 2 cars with them and the premium went down quite a bit on both this year unbelievably

I have mine with Privilege. every year I renew by chatting and giving the cheapest quote I have found that year, they always beat it.

I have a Macan GTS insured with Porsche (through Carbon) and underwritten by Aviva. Probably could find cheaper elsewhere but I'm happy with the price and cover. Was previously with Locktons for my Cayman but I was not impressed with their customer service.

I too am old[:D]. I have just renewed our 3 cars on one policy including a 2019 Macan S insured with Aviva for sub £1k in central Edinburgh inc cover in Europe. Been with them a few years and find them good.

I'm looking at renewing my 2020 Macan S insurance in early March. I'm not old, just experienced even if my age matches the legal UK motorway speed limit. I've looked at both Confused.com and MoneySupermarket and they give fully comp quotes of between £525 and well over £1,500. As with all insurance you need to look at what is and isn't included; courtesy cars, NCD, etc., as well as excess levels. I'm currently with Directline's Privilege outfit and they've quoted a renewal of £885 for their Plus option. However I'm looking favourably on Aviva Premium (an online only deal) via Confused as they're offering similar cover for £769 and this includes 90 day of European cover whereas the Directline one doesn't.
I'll probably call Directline and mention I'm thinking of changing, give them the quotes I've got, and see if they're prepared to reduce the renewal. Having done this in the past it can lead to a lower overall price or a reduction in the excess levels.

Pay £850 with Aviva for 3 cars a 22 plate Kia Hybrid a 2013 Boxster 2.7 a 987 Spyder 3.4 ....have been with them for years now and well above the national speed limit :ROFLMAO: the crazy thing is the Spyder is the dearest car yet has the lowest premium attached by far circa £170 4k a yr limit .. up in May so will see that they come up with got 20yr NCD protected.
