Region 5 are back at Trafford Park for more karting in January. It was hugely popular last year. Come and join us!

We ‘re going to the Teamsport Trafford Park kart track. It’s an indoor venue with a 450M track. The lap record stands at 32.49s so with the 40 mph/200cc petrol powered karts its pedal to the metal to beat that time.

The event is booked for Saturday, 21 January with an 8.45am start time. The format of the morning will be a practice/qualifying session and then a race in two flights. The track limit is 16 karts, so we have booked for a maximum of 32 entrants for exclusive use of the track. There will be a trophy for the winner.

The price per person is £47. Food will be available to order at extra cost on the day if required.

All equipment will be provided on the day although you are most welcome to bring your own racing overalls/shoes and full-face helmet.

Further info on Teamsport can be found here.

I think we are up to about 20 entries now, still space to test your driving skills and meet up with R5 friends in 2023. For those who haven't been to this venue before, its easy to access with plenty of parking and refreshments available. We';; run two flights of drivers, qualifying and a race.
