Having been lucky enough to join the last R5 Saturday Drive of 2022 this weekend, I would like to share my thanks to one of R5’s unsung heroes, Jon Kenwell who took on this thankless task for our region once again in 2022.
It takes a lot more than many of us realise to plan the routes and even more effort to organise all of us.
I for one have thoroughly enjoyed Jon’s drives that I have been lucky enough to join this year and would say that it is probably one of my favourite aspects of PCGB membership. Driving my Porsche on fabulous roads as it was intended with some great people, followed by a coffee and breakfast, it’s what Saturday mornings were made for.
