Wanted cayenne 958 spare wheel

Hi Stephen, just a couple of points in case you haven’t already thought of them. If your car has Bose or is a Hybrid there’s actually no room to put a spare wheel in the wheel well. I made that mistake when I specced my previous 958 Cayenne Hybrid with a spare. It was only on collection when I realised that Porsche get round this by mounting a huge metal bracket on the right hand side of your boot, taking up half of your load space, to make matters worse the net result is then the tonneau cover no longer fits so you end up having to leave it out.

I second Peters advice try 9-apart or check out Status Porsche breakers in Stockton, both are great if you’re still looking for one, hope this helps.

Thanks
mine is a late model 958 with an adblu tank so no sign of the bose amp. The wheel needs to fit over the adblu tank though.
i know some have used q7 wheels but not sure if these will fit over the adblu tank.

Hi Stephen,

I had a similar scenario to you with wanting to make sure I had a spare just in case the worst happens.
The information I found was that the official spare on these is the red 18”alloy space saver with the collapsible tyre. It is a different one than the previous generation 955/957 which used the black steel space saver, so worth steering clear of those.

They normally appear on eBay quite regularly from salvage breakers and private buyers.
I got mine from a private seller who sold their car and can confirm it fit’s over the Bose sub without issues.
it looks like it would fit over your adblu tank as it seems to have the room going by the picture.
