The magical attraction of Portmeirion has drawn Region 5 back once again on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 February 2023 for what is arguably one of R5‘s most popular annual events.

An early spring weekend in this beautiful Italianate village set against the magnificent backdrop of the Snowdonia Mountains. Overlooking the Dwyryd River with stunning views across the estuary and hills beyond, the setting is truly wonderful.

Relax and enjoy the many walks through the village, the 70 acres of exotic woodlands, the Japanese Gardens with the 19 miles of pathways through forest, secret spaces and coastal coves.

What is more, the Snowdonia roads offer smooth ribbons of tarmac to enjoy our Porsches as they were intended, cutting through the mountains, crossing the bleak moorlands and meandering along the coastal routes, all providing the spectacular everchanging landscapes of North Wales.

Choose a room in the hotel close to the amenities, an enchanting room in the village or in the 11th Century Castell for two nights of relaxed dining, sampling the delights of the Portmeirion cuisine with your R5 friends and making new aquaintances in the amazing atmosphere of this quirky hotel.

We would like to thank Nette and Phil Graham for kindly arranging this special weekend for R5 once again and if you would like to join us, please contact Nette and Phil at: r5porsche.pg@gmail.com

Hi Dan,

Thank you for noticing my deliberate mistake, which I have now corrected... You win the prize for paying attention! 😉😂

Further update...
