I’ve just purchased a low mileage 55 plate Carrera S with Bose, and looking at fitting an aftermarket Carplay system. Any advice or recommendations much appreciate.

Hi I have also bought a 997 4S. I am also looking to upgrade my speakers and head unit. I have a convertible and wanted to know if the Bose sub and speakers that have come out of a hard top. will it fit straight into my convertible?? Can someone please give me some advice thanks

Hi, I have daily drove my 997 for the last three years . One of the first things I did was swap out the head unit. I used the connect 2 surround, connect 2 convertor to keep my wheel controls and Bose (fiber optic connect). Head unit is a Pioneer Avic unit , wireless android/apple , dab . You will need a new dab antenna, mine is located in the top left of my windscreen. I cannot do without spotify 😩 with one exception, valves open and the roof down !

The amp is located in the frunk behind the removable panel on a none four wheel drive car. Cannot see it being an issue retro fitting, C4 might be an issue but there are other options . The Bose system is good but there is better out there .
