MOT Due but issues

The car hasn't seen much action this year, but with MOT due I thought I'd give it the quick look over.

New rear tyres maybe?

Maybe new disc's?

But annoyingly the windscreen washers aren't working. The headlight washer is fine, are these two different pumps ? What's the access via the inner wheel arch covers?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Access to the pump is by removing the passenger headlight. If you have to remove the full washer unit, then yes plastic arches need removed. Presumably you've checked the fuse ?

Two separate pumps, also check the switch is working. I replaced my pump for the windscreen washers a few years ago only to find it was the switch that wasn’t working. It was just a bit corroded and cleaned up fine

I also had to change the plug on the wiring to the pump as the pukka Porsche part had a different connector. I seem to remember that it was a 996 pump as they no longer made the 993 pump but maybe they’ve had another batch made
