There was a modest turnout of PCGB members at Wallop Wheels & Wings today. Fortunately the threatened rain did not appear, and at 07:30 there was no queuing at all to get onto the site. I’d say there were less cars of all marques than last year and with all the trade stands (gin/perfume/brownies etc) being separate from the airfield, plus the museum being closed, it was a less successful event than last year. Nevertheless I thank R17 for arranging the discounted entry and group parking.
