Original PORSCHE Headlight Ignition Control Ballast/Control Unit

GOOD NEWS for those who have this control unit in their Cayennes.

If one unit goes out of order with the "SYSTEM FAULT HEADLAMP" or similar errors, and because Porsche
no longer sells this particular version, you will have to buy TWO new control units.
Now is your only chance to just buy 1 unit and save a lot of money. PRICE: £350

Original Porsche Cayenne 2008-2010 9PA Headlight Ignition Control Ballast/Control Unit
MADE IN GERMANY
955.631.194.00
5DC 009-285-00
HW-Version: 3.0
SW-Version: VR 7.0
Diagnostics-ID: 7.0

This original part is a USED GENUINE PORSCHE Part. It came from my Porsche (Not aftermarket, Not Copy).
It is 100% made for PORSCHE Cayenne and ORIGINAL.

Unless both N/S and O/S Ignition control units are identical you will need to change both parts
because, this is what I discovered after extensive research, both ignition control units MUST be of the SAME HW and SW Versions.

Two new control units from Porsche cost upwards of £1500 not including coding and labour.

STRICTLY NO RETURNS on this item.
It is working because I have just replaced BOTH the faulty and working units
after unable to find a matching original unit.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
If you don't agree please don't buy this item.
DM if you are interested.

Available from Design 911 for £66.52 inc VAT

Not for 9PA, not Original ones.
Have actually done lots of research on pricings, parts, posed questions but received little useful information etc.
Eventually came round to realising that Original Porsche Parts for my Porsche is the proper way to go

These are available via Hella for a fraction of the Porsche price

Its not exactly the same though.
Tried taking that route but came back to my Porsche to maintain and retain its 'classic' value and pride with Original Porsche car parts not aftermarket 'copy' ones.
