To all Early 911 owner-drivers.
It would be nice to see as many of your cars as possible at this years Classics at The Castle meeting to support the 50th anniversary of the iconic Porsche 911 2.7 RS which as I am sure you all know is the pinnacle of the Early 911 model.
More details later, but book your tickets on the PCGB Website as soon as possible, see the advert on the Events Page.
See You There !

Hi Robin

My ‘72 Tangerine 2.4S is due to arrive at Greatworth Classics tomorrow and will need to be UK registered and MOT’d but I have bought a ticket for Castle Hedingham and am looking forward to meeting fellow register members with my new pride and joy.

Matt

Hello Robin,
Long time no speak but have just booked Hedingham tickets and very much look forward to catching up with some friendly faces there - yourself included!
Kind Regards
Stuart

Hi Matt, Stuart & Penny.
Good to hear from you all, Matt I am sure Greatworth will get the car sorted in no time and looking forward to seeing it at least at Castle Hedingham. Stuart & Penny Good to hear from you both, Jo and I definitely look forward to meeting up with you at CATC if not before.
I intend to have a display of our cars at CATC hopefully showing a span of the 3 main models 2.0, 2.2, & 2.4 Litres.

To anyone out there reading this who has an early 911, get your tickets booked from Club Office and let me know that you plan to be there on :- 911@porscheclubgb.com

Hello all who plan to attend the Classics at the Castle (Hedingham) CATC on 25 September.
Please read my 1st Mailchimp sent to all Early 911 Register members about a special generational display of the 2.0 litre, 2.2 litre, and 2,4 litre models the organisers have called for.
If you have one of these as either a coupe or Targa model and you would like your car to be part of that display, please send a photo of the car to either of the two emails addresses in the Mailchimp and they will contact you direct. Or send me an email and I will forward it.
I am sorry to say that for the first time I will not be at CATC this year, we have booked to go on the special PCGB 60th Anniversary Factory Visit in my high mileage 1973 911 2.4S and the dates clash.
Best wishes, Robin.

Hi Robin,
I had an email back from Fred which said that he was only looking for 72/73 2.4 models - not 2.0 or 2.2 - so maybe you need to have a chat with him!
Kind Regards
Stuart

Our race car will be on display, in all its Signal Yellowness.

Robin, sorry missed your email but picked up Fred's earlier one (have spoken and seen Simon since).

Nick

If we have a 2.7rs, do we just buy a ticket, turn up and we'll be pointed in the right direction for the display?

Well, let’s put it this way... you shouldn’t be turned away in a 2.7RS [:D]
Buy a ticket and pitch up - it’s a great location and event [;)]
