Hi
Have the car now from January and decide to take it for a decent runout as i have only covered about 300 miles. So the sun is shining here and temperature is around 15 Deg C which is fantastic here in the North West of Ireland.
Roof down we depart Eglinton B118 and onto the A2 heading for Limavady, wife is cold so boost heating and seat heat to maximum unfortunately cannot see PCM due to sun glare dissappointing as we had to pull over to sort it out as wife could not see it either.
Car in normal mode driving a treat we stop of at Antoniettes for lunch in Limavady this is a must as its the best Cafe in the area.
Leave Limavady using the A2 and then take the Windyhill Road B201 better known as " The Murder Hole Road " and aptly named this is a dream road to drive with long dips , crests and uphill climbs . I used both Normal and Sport modes for the 6/7 miles and kept engines revs within running in parameters really enjoyable. Engine noise muted even in Sport mode but response is amazing on leaving roundabouts.
Entered Coleraine and then took the Milburn Road to get to the Portstewart Road leading to Portstewart quick long straight speed limit reached so quickly with finger wagging by wife meant watch your speed. Portstewart was beautiful and ice cream at Morella,s was a must.
Have to say car overall is impressive and certainly is so quick I'm looking forward to after the running in phase it lacks a bit of exhaust noise compared with my 991 S Cab which had Sports exhaust.
Left Portstewart and headed for Portrush weather beautiful, PCM neither two of can see it to adjust settings. Used the Atlantic Road and onto Ring Road to Coleraine and then the A37 to Limavady and A2 back to Eglinton with no stops.
Over all the car performs great , suspension is bumpy even in Normal mode on the roads used which are in good condition. Roads into our local city Derry/Londonderry are terrible and i try to avoid certain routes even using the Cayenne which has Air suspension.
Sorry i took no photos .

Thanks for sharing a degree of enjoyment of your new Porsche while driving around your local area, though pics are a must... (-:
I have never had the pleasure of driving in N.I. though sailed there quite a few years back, found harbour in Portrush in foul weather.. The harbourmasters office had an image on the wall of the lifeboat heading out and climbing a huge wave, he told me they did not make it back in on that very stormy night..!!

My good lady is of plantationers decent and into geniology so hope to get on a ferry one day, re-visit the area, and perhaps the harbourmasters office to see if that pic is still hanging on the wall.
Seems you rekindled some memories for me hdoherty.... Thanks again for sharing.. (-:

Hi All
Thanks for the responses , Schuey I struggle with putting photos on the forum but I promise I will try and sort this aspect out within the next few days.
Geedee it’s a must come and visit soon , just a few weeks ago Portstewart was immersed in Atlantic water you know the geography.

That pic was worth waiting for, what a beauty...

Sorry I could ever only post one pic at a time, though to by-pass that "restriction" I just posted the pics one at a time in subsequent postings, which kinda works well enough but if you are too fast in doing so the system can get upset.

Hope this helps..?

That looks stunning, what colour is that? Doesn't look like Shark, looks more like Mexico Blue?

Guys,
I'm not sure how Flickr works (I use Imugr), but what I do is copy the site's BB code for the pictures I want to publish, then simply paste them directly into my draft post. I don't bother using the image insert button, I just use Ctrl+V to insert them.
Only the hyperlink texts will appear in your draft, but the photos will be there when you eventually post.
Regards,

Clive

Wow, amazing how the Blue looks in different lighting conditions. Beautiful car and enjoy in good health.

Love the colour and stripes - but then I would…

Zunspeed used my car to template the grills, so they now have them if you want.
I felt the rads, especially the middle one, were very exposed.
Edited to say yours is different now I look at it… doh

Hi
I am concerned about the rads on the front and had discussed this with my OPC upon ordering car unfortunately they could not assist . I will contact Zunspeed and see if they can help.
Your front bumper is different what model is your car look great.

If they haven't previously done your specific model design, they might offer to template yours, which is what they did with mine.

Speak to Matt at Zunsport on 01543273645.

Thanks Peter for the contact details that is a beautiful car you have , Python Green Turbo S a super car. Did you spec the factory option of stripes on the roof and bonnet .
Whats all you 992 owners thoughts on VW floating Porsche on the Stock Market ,I really want Porsche back as a Family run business, reading between the lines VW couldn’t bully them on technical development and progress on EV cars.
As my wife says ” Get on with it "

In your Flickr account, choose your photo, then bottom RH side click on the bent arrow to share the photo, then choose BBCode at the top of the box and copy the url link code to your clip board. Paste the link into your forum post and delete the dedication url (shown in red) as follows:-

I've needed to edit the above code to avoid the photo appearing.
