993 C2S 17" or 18" Wheels?

After many years I am thinking of fitting 18" turbo wheels to my 993 C2S (just got seduced by the look). I am sure there are lots of opinions but wondered what current thinking is?

The 17" have quite chunky spacers which came as standard as far as I am aware. Subject to offsets being OK is it a problem fitting the 18" rear wheels with spacers (mayby not the same ones as fitted to the 17") i.e. I think the wheels I am looking at are actually for a narrow body car.

Thanks

A real set were recently sold at auction for £4.5K .. be a bit careful with what might be on offer.
