H&R Springs and ARB (Sway Bars)

Hi All,

I’ve tried avoiding modifying my 981 Boxster Black Edition but recently bit the bullet and now have K&N air filters, Goodridge Brake Hoses with racing brake fluid, and most recently H&R Lowering Springs with high-tension ARB / Sway bars. The ARB kit includes, as per there website: "H&R stabilizer bars come with our proprietary urethane/Teflon composite bushings” only this isn’t true and only the rear ARB have these pre-fitted!

H&R state that we should use the original bushes which is poor effort IMO and impossible going from a 26mm bar to 28mm!

Finding the correct shape at 28mm is proving hard! Any pointers for me?

What is most annoying is the Front ARB required the most effort to access, with the subframe having to be dropped.

Thanks
Jay

Thanks, taken a look but they only have stock bushes up to 986 era. They asked me to raise a request to possibly make some bespoke bushes but surely this is over the top. All I need are 28mm version to fit the 981.

Design911 have been looking into 991 versions too but they have the same stock diameter

I uploaded a picture to show the shape of the stock bushes. You can see they are unique with a central bulge instead of raised edges and this is needed to fit in the existing bracket. Completely different shape to the 987.

I have browsed through all 28mm bushes on Powerflex but nothing that matches the shape.

I’ll give Centre Gravity a call - thanks. I really need H&R to step up and delivery what they promised!
