Porsche In The Glen 22nd May 2022 12-3.30

Your are invited to attend the event at Calderglen Country Park East -Kilbride G75 OQZ .This is the largest Porsche only event in Scotland for the last 8 years and we would like to welcome you back after a 2year break .For those who have never attended it is a static display on a lawn for you to display to fellow owners your pride and joy and talk cars. We will have a few trade stands as usual and hope to welcome back Porsche Glasgow who have supported us from day one and will be along with the latest car .There is the Courtyard Café where you can purchase food and drink at a discount or bring your own picnic as there are plenty of areas in the park. You also get FREE admission to the Zoo and the Conservatory so bring along the family . We have a Best in Show competition where you the owners pick your favorite car and there are many prizes to be won .So please put this in your diary and come along and enjoy the event PLEASE try to be in place by 11.30 before the public arrive as it can be busy and for safety reasons don’t want cars driving around and ask you stay till after prize giving. You could be the winner. Note no need to pre book. Will be sending out an email invite to all those who have attended and supported it over the years nearer the time .

Team PITG

Brian, please add me to the list.

BTW we might well be moving to R1 soon. though we might have to rent somewhere first in order not to be caught between the 2 different house moving systems.

Though currently without a roadworthy Porsche, we plan to attend with Region 2. Very much looking forward to getting back to PITG after so long a wait.

See you there!

Just a reminder with under 14 days to go .It looks like its going to be busy with the response thus far.
So get there well before noon .

Afraid 2022 has been a (more than a ) bit of a bitch so far for Larry and me. So we have had to drop out of many of the events we had planned so far and unfortunately PITG is one of them.

have a great time. We will greatly miss you all.

No problem thanks for taking time to let me know ...hope things get better for you both take care .

see you all there ...

I went along to the Porsche In The Glen (PITG) event, having attended it once before pre-Covid, and at that time I had never seen such a large collection of Porsches before thus did not want to miss the opportunity to repeat the experience. As ever it is so easy to take it for granted just to turn up and enjoy everything made available, but there have been and are folk working away in the background to make it all happen and assisting in setting out the parking arrangements and more, from meeting everyone with a smile to then provide directions, and given the number of Porsches I do wonder how they work it all out.
As ever I grabbed a few pics some of which I hope to post.
Thanks for posting the vid Brian.

The pics above are "Met with a friendly smile"

"Brian pointing the way"

"just park it like that"

And below "Guidance for a lovely 928"

" And that is not even half of them"

"What kind of Porsche is THAT..?"

Well done Brian and all those supporting including John, Sue and I’m sure many others.
it was great to see such an array of fabulous cars and catch up with long lost pals after a three year break.
looking forward to the next one.
Another YouTube video I found made by a chap that needs some help with his 99’s …

Lovely pictures & I like the shot of the little girl looking at the classic Jaguar parked within the Porsche owners area & the utube video was certainly interesting to watch & thanks for sharing it too.
