2022 R3 WOTY

Dear R3 Members, we have planned our WOTY for 16 - 18 September 2022 in Wales. Our outline plan is as follows:

[ul][*]Friday 16 September drive to Aberystwyth via Portmeirion (because we are not numbers, we are all free men), more details here[*]Drive on to the Starling Cloud, Marston's Inn, Aberystwyth were we will base ourselves - when we booked our room for two nights B&B was £250 - online booking here. Note, if you cannot book online call the hotel as some have had trouble booking online but the hotel still had rooms, hotel telephone 01970 623743[*]Saturday 17 September take a drive around the Pembrokeshire coast[*]Sunday 18 September drive home - no route planned yet, maybe drive home through the Trough of Bowland[/ul]We will collect details of those attending later to arrange dinner for Friday and Saturday night.

Just to echo Philip’s and Jacquie’s post, don’t be put off considering joining the WOTY if you can’t get an online room reservation at the Starling Cloud hotel as I nearly was. I called them this evening and they still have LOTS of rooms available on those dates.

Just call them on 01970 623743 and they will be able to help you out
