Hi,
happy new year to you all,
I’m bob from PCGB region 13, Looking at doing a trip around Northern Ireland with 2 cars and was wondering if anyone new any good scenic roads other than the obviously good coastal ones. Someone had mentioned some good roads through mountains of Tyrone for example. Also any good but well priced stop overs for 2 couples with suitable parking heading north from Dublin to Belfast then on towards Ballycastle
cheers all

If you are heading up from Belfast to Ballycastle then the obvious route is to go across to Larne, take the coast road the full way up to Ballycastle, including Torr Head, if you are feeling brave and make stops along the way at Glenarm Castle, Waterfoot, Glenariff, Cushendall, Cushendun etc. Plenty of nice places to stay around Ballycastle. Salt house Hotel looks great.

Once on the North Coast the roads are just fantastic, get up and onto them early if you want a drive as free from traffic as possible.

Thanks,
that great
stopping near Dublin, Belfast, Glen Arm Castle, Bushmills,Donegal,Cavan.
cheers
Bob
