Boxter Ignition

MartinS

New member
Hi all, I'm new here. I bought my first ever Porsche in August, it's an 08 Boxter and I bought it from Junction 17 in Peterborough [ I live in Durham ].

Once or twice I have been able to remove the ignition key but the engine kept running ! Will it need a new barrel please ? Do new barrels come with new keys...sorry if this is a dumb question. Also, does it have to be a Porsche dealer to mend it ? How much can I expect to pay.

Thank you

Martin

Hi Martin

There are a number of Porsche Specialists who may be able to help. You could try D&G Wallsend, Tom Ferguson in South ShieldS, Nelson in Stockton. AHRS in Bishop Auckland and also OPCs in Stockton and Newcastle
