Hi,
I'm interested in opinions regarding local Porsche Specialists. Waaaaay back, before 2013 (when I still had my old '89 Carrera 3.2) I used to go to Colin Brennan in Rossendale (not a Porsche specialist but an old school performance car guy who knew quite a bit about old 911's and other classic marques) and then 9-Apart in Ramsbottom (used to called Porsche-Apart back then) when they opened their workshop.
Now I'm back in the Porsche game I'm looking to get my 996 serviced before the Sept Track Day (first ever track day - so any advice on that is welcome). Pretty sure Colin would have retired now, even if he hasn't the 996 (though 20yrs old) is a very different sort of car - mechanically - from the marques he was familiar with. I don't know if 9-Apart still has a workshop after all this time or there are other, better, specialists localish to Rossendale. I've registered my 996 to my Digital Porsche ID and it has been accepted by the Bolton Porsche Centre (just got to get over there to get it on their Classic Register)
Cheers
