Reminder for Brackenborough drive out

We would like to enjoy the beauty of the Lincolnshire country view, before having a dinner at the Brackenborough Hotel (Cordeaux Corner, Louth, Lincolnshire LN11 0SZ) around 7pm.

We will meet at Wragby marketplace between 5.45pm and 6pm.

We will start from there at 6pm prompt.

Directions to follow are:
  • B1202 to Bardney (7 miles)
  • Turn left on B1190 to Horncastle (10 miles)
  • Turn right to A158 to Skegness (3 miles)
  • Turn right to B1195 to Spilsby (8 miles)
  • Turn left to A16 to Louth (1.5 miles) roundabout
  • A16 to Louth /Grimsby (5 miles) roundabout
  • A16to Louth /Grimsby (1.5 miles) fork left to Calceby; follow this most picturesque road with fabulous view to the left (8 miles)
  • A153 to Louth, see Cadwell Park on the right (6 miles)
  • Turn left to A16 3 roundabouts (3 miles)
  • 300 metres crossroad sign posted Louth Elkington, turn right Brackenborough Hotel is 100 metres on the right.
  • See you there at 7pm; if lost call John on: 07850 870993.


    It would be advisable to continue to carry hand sanitiser plus masks, and for social distancing be exercised wherever practical. Please respect individuals’ personal perception of risk.
