Sports cars in the park 1st August

Did intend going but now going to Netherton Hall, at invitation of R22, the day before and may stay up there.

Hi Graham, I'm going to Newby and I already have my tickets. If you are going I'll bring that roof down for you

I got this mail on Saturday:

Hi,

I hope you are all keeping well. Plans are now coming together for the 1st of August for our Newby Hall event. At worst the event will be based on 50% occupancy. We, like everyone else, are hoping for a full unlock on the 19th of July. We already have 280 display cars booked, so don't miss out!

Contingency - Newby Hall Venue has a current limit of 4,000 people. We are included in that number. We will be setting a soft limit of about 1,000 people in display cars, so we are counting the number of occupants around 1.77 per car. This gives us about 600 display cars. When we get close to the cap, upgrades will be switched off and once we hit our people limit the event will be marked as sold out. If things change on the 19th July or before. We will be able to lift the limit to 1,500 max display cars.

Jim that would be great . I printed my tickets off just before posting.

Stephen you need to go onto sports cars in the park website register then you can purchase tickets too download. I hope you and Shirley are good.

I tend to get a lot of tickets for things Stephen then i often have to get refunds, hopefully this one will go ahead.

I see it's currently at 600 cars attending [8D]

If anyone fancies travelling down in convoy, a few of us are meeting at a fairly well-known services near Newcastle on Sunday morning. Please PM me for details (I don't want to get in trouble with the club).

Graham just noticed your post on the Porsche Centre visit on 7/8 about being on your own as Moira can't walk? hope she is ok. Are you still going to this on Sunday if so I'll bring that roof?
