Can I add 997 GT3 front brake ducts to my 997 C2

Hi, I was looking for some help. I have just returned from a day at Croft. My last track outing I was experiencing front hot smoking discs after 20 mins of track time. Since then I have changed my rotors and upgraded to brembo HP pads. Vast improvement today but they are still getting warm, the passenger side was smoking when I could not do a warm down lap.
This is my question, I was taking to a guy with a 996 GT car , he was telling me he fitted 997 GT3 front cooling ducts to his car. I started to have a look during the dinner hour and I was wondering, can I fit 997 gt3 front brake cooling ducts to my 997.1 C2? They just appear to clip on to the lower arms? I had a look and there is nothing apart from the slots in the front plastic. I think this could be a great help to aid cooling. The brembo pads are good, very impressed . Thanks in advance for your answers.

Going to answer my own question here I think , yes they should fit and replace the factory fitted smaller ones, looks like a quick easy upgrade.

Hi!
Yes you can. I’ve done this on my 997 C2s and it’s a very easy job.
The clips to get them off and on are a bit of a faff, but otherwise it’s a straight swap. When I got mine, Design911 were doing a great deal on them.

How much difference did it make? I can’t imagine it’ll mean the brakes no longer smoke. I guess it’s a cheap fix if it does.
