July 17th meet at The Sharnbrook - anyone coming from MK?

Hi all
This will be my first regional meet and I wondered if anyone based in MK fancied a planned route up to The Sharnbrook?
We could meet at Out Of Office coffee or similar in MK before setting off for the venue.
Tom

Tom,

With Boris’s revision of ‘Freedom Day’ to 19th July I’m not sure that the meeting will still be going ahead.

I’m sure that Paul will be giving us an update on the situation before then on here and by email.

Jeff

Interesting. I was at Supercar fest just 3 weeks ago and there were thousands of people there, before that the Sharnbrook hosted an Auto ID event with hundreds attending. So I automatically assumed there wouldn't be an issue.

Paul will be guided by the Club’s official stance on this Tom, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens, but my guess is that our meeting will be delayed … maybe until August?

Jeff

Yes, me too Tom … it’s been a long time coming!

Hopefully catch-up with you and other R10 members as and when. ??

Cheers,

Jeff

Meeting on Sat 17 July 2021 is still on - car park area only by distanced parking and observing strict personal distancing at ALL times [;)]...

Shall we meet at Newport Pagnell Out of Office coffee around 10am and go from there? The route via Olney is quite fun.

Tom

that sounds ok, I guess you will park in St Johns car park in the back of the cafe?
this is the address: 39 St John's Terrace, Newport Pagnell MK16 8HQ in case somebody else wants to join us.
Looks like we will be at least 3 cars.

See you on Saturday!

I hadn't given parking much consideration and the car park you mention looks tiny from satellite. Perhaps Out of Office in the centre would be more suitable choice, they always have plenty of parking available right outside.

yes, i think the one in the centre will be easier for people to find us if they want to join.
the address is 280 Witan Gate, Milton Keynes MK9 1EJ

I'll see you there at 10am on Saturday.

Manuel

Great to meet some of you Saturday, thanks to Paul for introducing himself and I am looking forward to the next one.
