Our monthly meeting for August will be at Caffeine & Machine, really looking forward to this one, arrive anytime from 5pm, cost is £10 per car which includes a £4 drinks voucher.

We know this is a longish drive for some of you but this will be our night there, and you can stay over if you wish.

Took the 3+ round trip. Nobody marked out at being part of the club. There were many other visitors to the pub (as expected). Only spoke to one nice member whilst looking at their 997. Nobody else made any effort. Not sure where the "club" part of all this is?

Left 1 hour later. Bit of a waste of time and £6 "parking fee".

Nice evening weather, though.

Sorry we didn't get to speak yesterday evening and that you don't seem to have got a lot out of the event, unfortunately it didn't pan out exactly as we expected, we thought we would all be parked together and although we were near each other it was more fragmented than we would have liked. We intially put our Porsche flags out to show where we were but we were told to take them down (no advertising policy in place).
We worked hard on the night trying to get round as many people as possible, overall the event went well and we have had lots of positive comments.
Hope you attend another event in the future and please find Simon or myself, even contact once there.

Thanks, Steve. I realise being an organiser is a thankless task at the best of times, but I just wanted to make my feelings known. You may have other new members who simply don't know who anybody else and who to look out for. Only Adam, above, appeared to be looking at the member's cars, so very hard to identify.
