964 Tools

I'd be interested in them and have a Family member that lives in St Helens who would collect.

Dean

When I changed the bearings on our 964 O/S rear aluminium trailing suspension arm ,I made 3 special drifts as specified in the official Porsche workshop manual.
I've just come across them them again under my garage bench & offer them to any interested owner/member FOC for collection from Formby or for cost of carriage /packing otherwise.
Haven't weighed them but would think they are around 10 kg .

Hi Dean,

Sorry for delay-hadn't looked since posting-PM me with your details & we can arrange mutual collection time & date.

Colin.

Applaud your efforts in making these drifts / special tools .. would not this be the sort of thing the Register should hold for all members to have access to ?

Otherwise our claims of members' technical benefits are even more absolutely groundless .. reminds me of the Register Director that sold a Bosch Hammer because it was too dangerous for members to have !! (Hi A###n ! .. [8D])

cheers

Maurice,

I agree which is why I posted the information as an open post-thinking the register would pick up on it-Dean did react but he could initially have them on the basis that other members could then pick up on them later,if he wishes to help.

I have offered a collection of small body parts /fasteners (sale basis heavily discounted )to the Register Sec as I had them left over as I always bought packets from Porsche but so far no-one has been interested. These are the little black trim nuts, red trim rivet sockets etc that are better replaced if disturbed.Mark Byrne has the list ( at least I sent it to him-hope it arrived)

Dean-if U R looking -please PM me re' details-it's a bit tricky if you've never done it before-just click on forum -quickly click on my forum settings which appears as drop down menu-hover mouse over these this ,click & select Private Messages which expands to a menu .

(IIRC)

Hi Colin,

I have sent you a PM if you can check but I can't see it my sent items.

It's not easy finding private messages.

Regards

Dean
