Alarm sounds after 30 seconds of locking

Has anyone experienced unstable alarm triggers on a 911 992 Turbo S ? Also seems to affect walk up key recognition

Hey cristo
I had a similar issue with my 992 Cab. Alarm would trigger shortly after locking, or be ok. Longer than 30s for me though Sometimes.
OPC investigation said no faults found, but pushed them and they replaced the interior sensors. Was fine after that.
May help - may not. Hope it gets sorted for you though, as I ended up being on first name friends list with most of the Vodafone tracking team due to it!

Hey Jim,
Thanks for the feedback.
My issue doesn’t involve the Vodafone link though as am not using the system. Also it happens even if the internal sensors are switched off!
The walk up unlocking mechanism switches off after 7 days of no action and is only reinstated after a key fob unlock, however never linked the two.
It hasn’t misbehaved for a while so still unsure of the cause. Very annoying!!
