Now that we are making progress with planning our 2021 events, we are pleased to announce the release of our next one which will be:
The Cotswold Explorer 60 cars for 60 years
Taking place on Sunday 4 July.
The run will begin from Cornbury House in Moreton-in-Marsh.
The Clubhouse will be open from 9.45am and coffee will be provided.
As parking is restricted at the Clubhouse, we will unfortunately have to stagger your arrival times.
Drivers can sign on from 9.45 am, route books will be provided. There will be a drivers’ briefing to suit your allocation time and cars should begin to depart on a rolling time from 10.15am.
Please do not arrive before your allocated time.
The route is approximately 58 miles and a non-stop drive should take about one and a half hours. However, there are opportunities to stop en route.
The route ends at the Cotswold Wildlife Park where we will have a display parking area for our cars so the general public can also view them.
The normal entry fee for the park will be reduced, although we will confirm actual costs ASAP.
Once at the park your time is yours. It is home to over 260 different animal species and has lovely walled gardens. There is a cafe where you can get something to eat and also picnic areas should you wish to bring a picnic.
The entry will be limited to a maximum of 60 cars. Please email Simon if you would like to enter. Simon
Please note, as this is a previously postponed event, preference will be given to those who originally booked.
