It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement.
On Thursday 15th April in the early hours of the morning, our good friend and member Patrick Henson passed away.
Patrick has been a Porsche club member for many years, but will be remembered by many of you for his organising of our very successful Secret Hill Tours with the aid of his lovely wife, Sylvia. Our condolences are with Sylvia and his family at this time.
Words cannot describe our loss.

Very sad news

Patrick will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

Our thoughts are with all his friends and family.

Oh dear how awful. Thank you for letting us know. I was in dialogue with Pat a few weeks ago about the 993 baton handover. He said his health wasn’t great but I never expected this.
A lovely fella.

Hi Steve

Just to say how shocked and saddened I was to hear of Pat’s death. His enthusiasm for his 993 and his Secret Hills Tours will remain fond memories for me , and I remember well arriving at Porsche Wolverhampton on one of my rare attendances at an R13 event. Suddenly, out of the blue, I heard Maurice .. Maurice !! delivered at full volume .. and there was Pat, leaping out of his still rolling Targa, beaming !! Top man, only sorry I didn’t get to know him better.

Please let us all know the funeral arrangements, assuming its not tiny private ..

Best, Maurice

Pat was a great man, I have fond memories of him and Silvia on various WOTY and the trip to the Monaco Historique
Races in May 2018.

I also competed with him in 2 sporting trials at Shelsley Walsh, in 2017 and 2019. We won 2 trophies, doubtless down
to his driving rather than me providing ballast!

I also helped him once with the route of a Secret Hills Tour.

He also helped with the arrangements to the visit to The Ludlow Brewing Company in 2019.

We will miss him greatly, and we hope that Sylvia will be OK without him.
