Front and rear ParkAssist is now standard Glen, though I think that heated seats have been included for a while.

Just been on the Configurator. Has have been toying with getting a Boxster GTS 4.0. I am disappointed to find yet another 1k price increase on Base list. the second since Christmas. The only option that I can see is free now is heated seats. Big deal.

With not going mad with options still managed 10.5k. I have a test drive booked Saturday. Does anybody no if any deals can be done. Money off, extra options, free service. I do not need finance, My current car a very low millage good spec 981 may be part ex if they offer fair price. If not would sell through club site. Would appreciate feedback. Many thanks Glenn.

Being a cash buyer makes you unattractive to the dealer as they want to sell you finance since they get a kickback from the finance company. I know this from my experience as a cash buyer. You may be lucky enough to get an umbrella thrown in.

Money off? Extra options? Free service? Fair price for part exchange? You’ll be lucky Glen … this Porsche!

They might deign to include the Smoking Package @ £38 and maybe the Passenger footwell storage net as well … Oh no! That’s FOC.

Jeff

I have ordered and did not find any deals As such. Certainly nothing on the car but I hope to get a full tank of petrol. I asked for mats but they are already included. Let’s hope I get a coaster And a cup.

Dick is right about finance though. The first PC I enquired with asked first about how I wanted to buy the car before what spec I wanted.

A suggestion was made to take out the finance and then pay it off straight away in order to make the most of a an offer. I wasn’t happy with that so went to another PC.

I looked into trading my 2019 718 Cayman(very low miles, good options) against a brand new 992, Porsche offered me £6500 less than "we buy any car.com", So might be worth looking at this option as its mostly done on-line for the valuation.

Of course Porsche wanted full price on the 992 and a build slot in 1/4 three, thank you very much sir.

I love Porsche dearly but I think they might just be pushing their customers loyalty to the limit!!!

Once in a life time deal right there.............. If you are Porsche [8D]

I have purchased and sold a succesion of Porsches privately over the years with great success. Meeting the owner tells you so much in support of the provenance and most are very pampered cars. Warranty (including the extended ones) are fully transfereable with a private sale. The PCGB website for sale section is effective and low cost.

Final straw for me Q1/22 delivery, price increase, more delays due to the conrod issue ? Just cancelled my GTS order and will take my chances on the used market or buy something else

What con rod issue? I seem to have missed this?

A batch of GTS 4.0 have been produced with sub standard conrods so deliveries are officially on stop. Folks have new GTS sitting in the dealer waiting rectification probably a new engine, in some cases paid for vehicles they cant drive. Expected to delay until about late may /june. My deduction is this will further impact production delays and why its final straw for me.

And logging into the configurator again today, I see the GTS 4.0 base price has just gone up another £1,310 - I can't spot any changes in the standard spec.
