All ready a problem with the Sat Nav

I have found on my new 992S the PCM navigation does not store favourite places. When the star symbol is pressed to store the new destinations it appears on favourite list on the PCM as saved, although it does not seem to store on the server to be accessed by the Porsche connect app or my Porsche.

The next time I access the PCM on the car it has disappeared. I have raised a ticket with Porsche connect in Reading, all they do is to pass on to Germany.

The other problems I had on the previous 992 took 18 months to solve. Hopefully, this problem will be sorted sooner. I will keep you informed.??

I have the same problem on my 3 week old 992. I have reset the PCM but it made no difference. My stored destinations disappear after an hour or less! The car is going to Wolverhampton OPC on 6 April. My expectations are zero!

I am waiting for Porsche `Germany to sort, ticket still open.,. Few people on the 992 FB have experienced the same

I am pleased to report that Porsche Germany have now fixed the problem of the PCM not saving favourite places and also the destinations from the Porsche connect.

I received an email from them today to check, and it is OK.
