Porsche Production Tracking

Hi,

Other than asking your dealer, is there anyway of tracking the progress of the production process of your car? I believe my car may have gone into production now and I'm keen to know if there's any app or website where I could track progress. It seems there is a tracking app for North America customers but don't know if anything exists for us here in the UK?

Thanks in advance.

No, not atm.
I think there's an app for Stateside customers to do what you are suggesting, but so far nothing as yet for UK customers.
Your PC should be able to provide you with details of your car's progress.
When you do a factory collect, there's a photographer on hand to record the handover. I think it would be a nice touch if each owner was provided with a photo of their car coming off the factory production line. [:)]

Regards,

Clive

I contacted Porsche about production photo's of my TTS as I had seen on other forums that people stateside were getting a bare shell photo and a finished one as it rolled off the end of the production line and it was known as 'Track your dream'.

From their response on 3rd November 2020 it is apparently available in this country, currently being piloted at three dealers, Tonbridge, Sheffield and Kendal and known as known as 'Porsche picture in production'.
I don't know if this has been further expanded to other dealers by now.
