evo Car of the Year 2020 is on ITV4 - Part one tonight, and part two tomorrow, both at 8pm.
Featuring two Porsche contenders, the latest 911 Turbo S and the 718 Cayman GTS4.0.
It should be an interesting watch, even if you’ve already read the magazine and know the conclusion.
Part Two should be especially interesting for Yorkshire region members as it takes place on the stunning roads of the Scottish Borders which is where we are hoping to go for our WOTY in October 2021.
Plus a MOTY at the same location - a midweek of the year for those who prefer to go away midweek. More details to be announced early next year.

I had no idea what MOTY meant. Seen in loads of places over the years, but never saw it expanded. You learn something everyda.

I’d never seen the word MOTY before I made it up last week. It might mean something quite different to some people. I hope it doesn’t mean anything rude.

Thanks for the advice, enjoyed the programmes ... didn`t realise I`d have a vested interest for next year [;)] :p

Watched this after seeing your post, lovely roads up in Scotland but what a lot of 'waffling' in between..... certainly couldn't watch anymore of those programs.... however it was stated that they 'were the only ones on the road' so anyone planning a trip, beware it may not be as empty....

I agree Paul. The programme could easily have been edited down to 30 minutes without affecting the content.

Spondoolicks aside, having driven a McLaren 570S a while ago I think that I’d take the McLaren LT over the other two any day ... although a howling Lamborghini V10 has its attractions!

I totally ignore any supercar ... they should have their own event

Having driven the other two of the top four, albeit an earlier version of the M2 ... and listening to / evaluating `the waffle` I am better informed

I agree, a lot of self righteous chat for what could have been a great show. Strange that between ITV and Evo they could not put a good hour of TV together, when lots of low budget YouTubers do a better job.
On a different note, there are some great roads in the Borders, and will definitely be interested in details of the WOTY.

I imagine that places on the WOTY will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Perhaps the time is right for a list to be created?

Elaine and I and Mark and Ann Grainger would like to be on the list please.
