Gordon AttarIt doesn't matter what the warranty says. He probably excluded the PCM because he new it was faulty.The Consumer goods Act gives you a six month warranty on everything, so quote it at him and if he doesn't respond correctly to you phone call. Then do it in writing and give him a time frame to fix it, if he doesn't report him to trading standards and send him the bill for the repair.
