1973 targa project

Hi everyone, I’ve owned my early 1973 rhd targa for about 7 yrs now . So thought it was about time to start a resto, I’ve just acquired a large amount of parts and I really could do with selling what is on my car to help fund the next stage of the project. as you can see it has had a facelift at some point in the past and I believe is fitted with genuine turbo body kit? any help or advice on selling the parts and value would be greatly appreciated.
i will be putting it back to stock so will not be needing anything post 74 inc the doors Interior etc.

I think you have made right decsion. A standard '73 car would be much more desirable than the state the car is in now.

The Turbo flared wings would be much sought after I'm sure and will help finance the resto too.

To attract a wider audience, I suggest that you put your question - and the photos - on the DDK Forum, where there are many very knowledgeable and helpful members.

DDK is mainly for pre impact cars, your best bet is Impactbumper.com

The car is 1973, which makes it a pre-impact bumper model.

Hello Ben, looks o be a good 'demanding' project and the strip will reveal a great car.
DDK site will put you in touch with a lot of keen helpful people who have an astonishing grip on the facts and figures on these early cars and finding and disposal of parts.
What 73 model is the targa?

hope you will run a parallel restoration thread on ddk too, this site and ddk are very complimentary, you. Will not regret it.
As an aside, ddk covers far more than preimpact pre 74 Porsche's, really anything air cooled and a fair bit of water cooled interlopers.

I believe it to be a T. not got round to getting a birth certificate for it yet .
Im going to get the car back out of my storage u it and start removing some of the parts that I wish to sell. Just need to push another project on (1949 landrover) to make some room.
thanks for your input much appreciated

I have my car stripped down with Engine/ gearbox out all ready to paint, it's a us model. so anything really for a 1974 Targa. UK bumpers perhaps? Gear box linkage cover in front of rear seats. Rear lenses. Not sure what I need as not gone through it yet, but whatever you have.

cheers.
