Strange Surges Under Boost?

Question to any other 718 owners...has anyone experienced weird surges when the turbo spools up?

Never noticed it before but had a 911 whilst my car was in the bodyshop for repair so when i first noticed it put it down to the. different characteristics of each of the cars and just getting used to my car again after driving something else for a few weeks. However I’m now noticing it more frequently. At high revs turbo seems to spool up then boost drops off before picking up again. i thought it was rapid gear changes (I’ve a PDK) but now that I’m looking out for it (difficult to watch revs & boost gauges together(, it seems to be independent of the gear changes. Last drive before posting 3 surges before gear change.

Anyone else noticed it either as normal behaviour or a potential/actual fault?
