Hi, I am booked on the Blyton Park track day on the 1st of October 2020, will this event be taking place? I sincerely hope so ??

Hi Stephen,

Delighted that you can join us.

Even more delighted to say YES YES YES, the event is going ahead!!

Blyton Park will be operating under sensible precautions, there will be social distancing at the circuit and plenty of hand sanitiser available. We will be asked to park cars well apart and the drivers' briefing will be given in a large open space rather than the briefing room.

There are some spaces still available - this is the PCGB trackday bargain of the year - and booking is now open to all Club members.

Hi Stephen, you should by now have received an email from the Clubhouse. The venue will be open from 8am and the Driver's briefing is at 9am.

***THREE PLACES NOW AVAILABLE DUE TO LATE CANCELLATIONS ***
Due to unavoidable cancellations, three places are now available for this sell out event - the best value PCGB trackday on the calendar! Please book directly on the main Club website here: https://www.porscheclubgb...y-%e2%80%93-north-west

I cannot wait! Yes forms signed, bag packed! Looking forward to trying out my fire retardant underwear. Hopefully not with a fire ! Any idea what track layout we are using and how many cars are booked on?
I don't know why I am region 9 , I have a Wigan postcode and live in Lancashire, can I defect?
Thanks for your help and the info ??

Hi Stephen

I j hope you enjoy the day.

Why not transfer to Region membership to Region 18 - Lancashire. You will have been allocated to a region by virtue of your postcode. We have several members from your area that come along to events. our monthly meetings are at Garstang Golf Club (Covid permitting) on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Have a word with Rob Kellock, Jamie Wilson and Keith Lofthouse from R18 at Blyton.

Hi Stephen.

If you have a look on Blyton's website, we are using what they call the Outer Circuit so far as I am aware. https://www.blytonpark.co.uk/the-circuit

At the moment we have 21 cars booked on for the day with three places remaining available for booking today.

Generally, Blyton will permit 6 cars on track at once, possibly allowing up to 8 if there is huge demand. There is a traffic light system and you won't be released on to the track in traffic. Many people like to go out for a bit of a warm up lap, do 3 or 4 laps at their own pace then do a bit of a cooling down lap and come in for a coffee and a natter. If you aim to do that, you should get many opportunities to drive laps with the track to yourself.

Look forward to meeting you tomorrow - I will be with Jamie Wilson (rockstar) in his white Carrera T and Keith (dent removal legend) hopefully in his gorgeous mint coloured 964RS.

Thats good news , looks like the fastest track. Looking forward to meeting (at a reasonable distance of course) the Lancashire members. Defection is on the cards!

I would just like to say a big thanks to everyone involved in organising and the running of this great days events. Thanks for making me feel welcome. There was a friendly bunch with their cars. To the guy in the Macan, what a capable machine, a true Porsche! I slipped away at 3 ish, I had to return home. Thanks for a great day ??
