Fish and Chip Run 2020. REVIVAL.

WE ARE SORRY TO HAVE TO CANCEL THIS EVENT DUE TO THE CURRENT NEW GUIDLEINES.

As things seem to have eased off a bit, we propose to organise a series of limited number entry runs to Whitby this autumn.
Initially I propose to limit the runs to Ten cars on each event commencing on Sunday, 6th September.
We will start at the Motorist, Sherburn in Elmet, and use two separate routes to Whitby.
Each route is approximately 100 miles and suggested stops are marked on the route guidance.
We will issue the routes by E mail prior to the event and also a Risk Assessment that has been registered with PCGB.
The RA covers such things as Social distancing, Face coverings, Hand Sanitisers and Tack and Trace.
All entrants will be required to leave their mobile telephone number with the run organiser and it will be kept for the required 14 days, then destroyed.
Food in Whitby will be for the entrants to arrange themselves.
Most restaurants in Whitby are open and finding somewhere to eat should not be a problem. We have been to both Trenchers and The Abbeywharf with no problems. These restaurants were very well organised and we were impressed with the amount of thought that was given to customer safety.
Entry is on a first come first serve basis and I will try to arrange runs on consecutive weekends if the numbers are there and the Motorist will allow us to start at their venue.
I can organise a mid week run for those who are retired and do not want to do a weekend run.

Will people signing up for the run please put down their full names and passenger names also Membership number, this will make our life a lot easier when sorting out details.

Could all entrants please forward their E mail address to me via the private message system so that I can send out the routes and Risk Assessment.
