Insurance recommendation? 2019 Macan S LHD

Hi all,
have a Macan S 2019 LHD (sold by Porsche mayfair / non imported) and recently had to replace the cracked windscreen.
Car insured by Churchill... (avoid them!!)
they directed me to their preferred partner Autoglass to get it replaced for 75£.
When I checked details and asked if they would use the exact same glass manufacturer, I was told Churchill would not cover this cost.
They would use a cheap (?) equivalent.
For safety reasons and peace of mind, I decided to get the replacement done by Porsche.
Churchill is only refunding 125£.

Any advice for a good comprehensive one? (no hidden bad surprises like with Churchill)

Thanks

Sorry to hear about that. It's annoying that you only find out the small print once something happens.
My insurance is due for renewal (esure) so I am following your post hoping someone has some good advice.

Insurance" what a good subject to mention. on my renewal l always go on the comparison websites to find a good deal. Picking out four companies l ask them all the same question, in the event of a claim for accident or windscreen replacement could l have genuine Porsche parts fitted, or to the make and model of the car that l own.
I also ask the advisor to please check with your manager for authorisation. With that l then make sure it is input on their system.
This happened to me with my previous Q5 when the Auto windscreen chap turned up to replace my screen. lt said on his notes to fit original parts and they have given me an after market screen. He phoned my insurance company for approval and the assistant said that’s correct. He took it back to bring the genuine screen.
