Macan. Extended Warranty. Yes / No

Hi All, My Macan SD is 5 years old in September.
No issues at all since new. Drives and looks like the day it was delivered.
Mileage 29,500.
I have to decide on extending the warranty again, roughly £1,000 for one year £2,000 for two. Includes roadside assistance which I already have through another service.
The 111 check fee is included if I take out the warranty.
Im inclined to pay for it through fear of a large repair bill.

Any thoughts?

Cheers
Barry

I've just tried to find my post detailing my engine failure in June 2017, but can't find it.

Porsche AG incurred a £17k cost to ship and fit a new short engine to my former 2014 Macan S. I'd therefore renew the warranty. Can you get a refund on your other AA type cover?

If you choose not to renew, then consider the £2,000 saving to represent your self-insurance premium.

Regards
D

Barry,

Just to mention that I think you'll find that you can have the Warranty without roadside assistance, so check with your Dealership before committing.

this is correct - I was offered the choice of with or without assistance last time. you don't have to take the assistance.
